From emerging technologies such as ship automation and deep-sea intelligent aquaculture, to solutions such as green port construction and marine ecological restoration... Walking into the 2023 World Maritime Equipment Conference, the achievements of marine science and technology are overwhelming.
The 2023 China Marine Equipment Expo, held concurrently with the conference, attracted 715 companies from 14 countries and regions to showcase over 6500 excellent products, advanced technologies, and solutions.
The reporter's visit found that intelligence and greenness are common features of a series of marine technology achievements, reflecting the continuous progress of China's marine economy towards a new stage of high-quality development.
With only 7 staff members, it can raise 1.5 million salmon annually... The "Ocean Fishing Ground No.1" aquaculture platform, contracted by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd., is impressive. This offshore "aquaculture farm" provides energy through wind and photovoltaic power generation, and is equipped with over 20000 sensors and more than 100 monitoring devices for monitoring the status of fish.
Engineer Cheng Zongliang from Wuchang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Group said that this equipment is a semi submersible open fishing ground and has been delivered to Norwegian customers for use. The water volume of the equipment reaches 250000 cubic meters, equivalent to 200 standard swimming pools, and can withstand typhoon winds up to level 12.
The "Mingyuan" model exhibited in the exhibition hall attracted a lot of attention from the audience. It is reported that the "Mingyuan" is a 400000 ton intelligent ultra large mineral sand ship, equipped with more than 2000 sensors to quickly and accurately collect the physical environment status of the entire ship. At the same time, the data is imported into the network information platform "Brain" and provided with operating environment data to various intelligent systems.
During the interview, the reporter found that intelligent technology is constantly integrating with the marine industry, promoting industrial upgrading. Through remote video footage, it was observed that at the Hairun Port in Xiamen, the lifting equipment smoothly lifted the container from the giant ship and accurately placed it on the frame of the autonomous truck. However, there was no one in the bridge crane cab on site. Lai Zhiwei, the brand operation manager of Fujian Electronic Port Co., Ltd., who participated in the remote control and intelligent transformation of Hairun Port, introduced that since the launch of the intelligent transformation system, drivers can remotely operate the bridge crane from the remote control room office 2 kilometers away, completing a series of complex operation actions with a higher safety factor.
